Downtown East presents Marine Marvels
Singapore, Apr 25 2024 - As the mid-year school holidays approach, learning continues at Downtown East, and Singapore‘s popular lifestyle hub is proud to present Marine Marvels: an exciting celebration of ocean conservation and adventure. The mega attraction combines fun and educational elements in not one but four highly engaging zones from May 24 to July 28.
Why a marine-themed attraction? Well, the objectives are multifaceted. The mid-year programme is a platform for education and awareness about marine life and conservation efforts, as human activities continue to threaten the world's oceans. Marine Marvels also offers visitors the opportunity for immersive experiences, fostering a deeper appreciation and understanding of the oceans and marine ecosystems. Through the power of play, such attractions promote environmental awareness and sustainable practices.
Marine Marvels is more than a viewing attraction, as visitors (especially kids) can bring home with them meaningful memories, lessons and inspirations through four main interactive installations – Wave Wonder Zone at Wild Wild Wet (WWW); Glow Coast Carnival and Neon Playground (first of its kind in SG!) at the Open-Air Carpark; Interactive Education Installations at Event Square; and Marine Mealtime just outside WWW’s entrance.
