Bond with your family and friends this year-end holiday with our exciting and value-for-money activities! From family golfing and staycations to go kart racing and indoor climbing, there’s something for everyone at our NTUC Club entities.

Family Bonding and Golfing

An exciting new family bonding initiative, Parent-Child Golfiday, is a special one-day event for mums and dads to teach their young ones a new sporting activity while creating fun memories together. Held on 18 December 2020 at the award-winning picturesque Marina Bay Golf Course, the programme includes 45 mins of putting supervised by a professional golf coach and a challenge course for kids, followed by a 2 meal at The Canopy. Each registration also comes with a complimentary pair of Wild Wild Wet tickets to take the fun from the greens to the blues!

Bond with your family and golfing kakis at the popular 3D2N staycation package at Orchid Country Club that includes complimentary drinks and a $50 voucher (for use at selected F&B outlets). This special year-end package includes complimentary bowling games, as well as a hygiene kit for you to complete your stay!

Arts, Music, Food and Sports at Downtown East

Lighting up the festive season at Downtown East is the debut of LITE ON! – one of the four exciting themes that are being introduced to transform Downtown East into a vibrant arts, music, food and sports destination.

LITE ON! is an arts programme featuring multi-sensory works by a collective of local artists and groups. These artistic mixed-media pieces by Speak Cryptic, BOD, Space Objekt, and Shophouse & Co. are visually stimulating and meaningful conversation starters! Happening from 16 November 2020 to 21 March 2021, this free-admission display is supported by the National Arts Council and is part of Singapore Art Week. 3

Among the dozen new offerings at Downtown East are popular dining outlets like The Banana Leaf Apolo, Fragrant Garden, and WATAMI Japanese Dining. In addition, one-stop heritage bakery brand REDMAN by Phoon Huat is targeted to open in December 2020. Not only can you get your baking supplies here, you can also take part in classes at its baking studio!

Downtown East will also be taking sporting activities to another level. Upwall Climbing, which will open in December 2020, offers auto-belay climbing lanes for those with no climbing experience. This means that anyone (from 3 years old) can give climbing a try at the facility. Other notable active lifestyle tenants include F45, Spartans Boxing Club, and Singapore's largest indoor skating rink – Hi Roller. Airzone, an elevated playground for adults, is slated to open in April 2021.

Additionally, we have reopened most of the MICE facilities at Downtown East. For couples getting married, we have recently launched an Instagrammable wedding experience at our water park – Wild Wild Wet! Also, look out for our virtual events that you can safely enjoy from the comfort of your own home.
