Singapore, 2 July 2019 – From 20 – 21 July 2019, Downtown East and the Singapore Cosplay Club (SCC) presents COSFEST XVIII: A LINK TO YOUR FANTASY, Singapore’s mega cosplay convention for both cosplayers and enthusiasts to bond, don cosplay costumes and enjoy performances of their favourite characters! This year’s event features special partnerships with Warner TV and the Gyeonggi International Cosplay Festival (GICOF).
Attendees can look forward to celebrating Batman’s 80th Anniversary at Cosfest XVIII: A LINK TO YOUR FANTASY. In partnership with Warner TV, Hollywood actress and ardent anime fan Lovina Yavari will be making an appearance on both days of the event. Fans of DC Cosplay Universe can also expect to see their favourite heroes up-close during the exclusive DC Cosplay Showcase performed by cosplayers as they take centerstage to exhibit their intricate make-up and costumes.
Bring the whole fun and excitement to the next level with the first ever Cosfest x GICOF cosplay competition! Compete as a pair at the Cosfest x GICOF to stand a chance at winning attractive prizes, as well as represent SCC and Singapore in the annual GICOF held in South Korea. Attendees can look forward to an array of audio and visual spectacles in D’Marquee as participants put on dazzling performances bound to keep you on the edge of your seat!
The widely popular Cosfest Waterworld is also set to make a splashing return this year! Guests of Wild Wild Wet can catch a glimpse of their favourite characters as cosplayers engage in water-themed photoshoots!
With over 250 performances by cosplayers, as well as more than 150 booths, attendees of this year’s Cosfest can lay their hands on anime merchandise, print custom T-shirts and more.
