The Jumbo May Deals @ Downtown East
Singapore, Apr 19 2024 - It pays to be a union member and in May, the perks will come in generous packages. Just how generous? Daily discounts and savings worth more than $20,000. This is the biggest offerings yet for the well-loved lifestyle hub in the East. To mark May Day, NTUC Club has put together a behemoth of lifestyle deals from more than 70 brands – from dining, shopping, retail, and attractions – at Downtown East from May 1 to 31, exclusively for more than 1 million union members.
If all that sounds like a colossal of savings, well, it is. For starters, union members can redeem a $5 Downtown East F&B voucher at the E!Avenue and E!Hub iCounters whenever they spend a minimum of $20 in a single receipt in May at any F&B outlet from 11am to 3pm, Mondays to Fridays (excluding public holidays).
Take your pick: brunch, lunch or have a coffee break with a choice of over 60 outlets (including fast food restaurants). F&B voucher redemption is limited to the first 50 per day, and one redemption per union member a day.
Downtown East also welcomes two new restaurants at E!Hub – Bucketta, serving seafood in a bucket; and Noosh Noodle Bar And Grill, which opened its second outlet in the east.
The former, a western seafood eatery, will offer 1-for-1 for selected pastas. And, union members enjoy 1-for-1 drinks at the Muslim-owned Noosh, which dishes up yummy western and Asian cuisines.
A variety of $5 light meals and dessert awaits. Members can indulge in a large kopi/teh and a kaya butter baguette at Killiney Kopitiam; a single patty burger and drink at Ministry of Burgers; or a small frozen yogurt with a topping at Yolé.
The $5 deals extend to Bike Shop, where members get $5 off for spare parts replacement. Those who love the lights, music and roller skates at Hi Roller enjoy $5 off for weekday entry.

Then, there are the popular family outings at Downtown East. The deals in May include up to 50% off for pony rides at Gallop Stable; 15% off for all prawning packages at Bait ‘N Catch; and 10% off on party bookings at Tayo Station, for union members. Over at the award-winning Seriously Addictive Mathematics, it’s offering a free trial math lesson for kids from four to 12 years old.
Fitness enthusiasts aren’t left out. They enjoy a $95-saving when they sign up as a member with Anytime Fitness. And ladies, if you love the elegant gold plated chain sling bags, Everbest is giving a 70% discount off on these babies.
