The new kid on the block - NTUC Club
June 28 2022 – There’s a new buzz in the Eastern region of Singapore, right down at SingPost Centre, next to Paya Lebar MRT. On the third floor is where NTUC Club’s spanking new social clubhouse is located - NTUC Club @ SingPost Centre. Launched this month, the club is a sprawling 10,600 sq ft of space that features a sake & whisky bar; a contemporary Japanese restaurant; a sushi bar; a lounge and co-working area; an event space; and a recreational area.
Walk in and you’ll be greeted with the warm sophistication of steel grey interiors offset by warm wooden accents. The contemporary design exudes a sleek charm and earthiness while the furniture in the lounge gives a fun pop of colour to the entire space as guest first enter.
This new lifestyle concept opened seven days a week encompasses social spaces for every occasion and offers the community an invigorating environment to immerse in creative work, wine and dine, attend event workshops and unwind.
Relax or work in the lounge area with a cuppa, or head to the restaurant in the clubhouse for a scrumptious meal with drinks. Then wind down at the end of the day with a round of pool and darts at the recreational area boasting two pool tables and three electronic dart machines.
Ronnie Tan, Group Director of NTUC Club, said, “Our members and patrons are at the heart of everything we do, and this is the place for them to relax, network, bond, grow and inspire. A lot of thought has gone into our new clubhouse as we wanted to create a space accessible to professionals where they can transition from work to play - all within one location”.
While some guests may opt for meetings and networking events at L3Eventbox, others may find a place to unleash their cheerful and playful side at the lounge and games area.
Anyone patronising this nook can reform their lifestyles by opting for various activities at the clubhouse. People can attend late afternoon corporate discussions here at the co-working spaces and transition to fun right after, experiencing the best of both worlds.
L3Eventbox is equipped with a hi-tech system which includes the Samsung Interactive Flipchart and customisable RGB cove lights that can effortlessly transform for any occasion.
The event space is a great location for seminars and celebrations conforming to guests’ specific needs f rom hosting coffee appreciation workshops, sake & sushi parties, whisky & wine tasting, birthdays and ROM parties, the list is endless.
Veteran food and catering conglomerate Neo Group with more than 25 brands under their belt expands their contemporary Japanese brand issho izakaya within the club.
This second outlet features three main dining concepts: the exclusive Sake & Whisky Bar (42 pax); Sushi Bar (10 pax); and the main restaurant including three cosy private dining rooms (82 pax).
While the club’s restaurant allows members to host business lunches, the restaurant’s wooden floor, and contemporary Japanese interior conjure the perfect setting for personal dinners with friends, family and even co-workers to share the joy of a good meal at the end of the day.
From next month, the restaurant will offer lunch sets making it the perfect reason to pop by for a quick game of pool or darts at lunchtime.
Nothing beats clubbing with perks. NTUC members at the club enjoy additional privileges such as invites to private member-only events, earning Linkpoints on their dining bill and receive up to 20% discount off event packages.
New members receive even larger savings as they enjoy a one-off 15% discount at issho izakaya, as well as free usage of L3Eventbox.
New members can sign up on the spot, in-person, to receive more benefits or online for convenience before their next visit.
